Experience

Aspect Capital

Investment Solutions & Quantitative Research intern

I have interned across the Investment Solutions Team, Volatility Research team and Systematic Global Macro team and recieved an offer to return as a Quantitative Researcher!

March 2021 – October 2021

Tudor Investment Corp

Quant Risk Analyst

My wondrous crash into finance! I had a great time learning and developing tools for the Risk team at Tudor.

I also got a chance to meet Paul Tudor Jones II and sit in an investor call which was an incredibly insightful experience.

July 2019 – September 2019

Kaiku

Strategy & Deals

This was a good run; I started as a front end developer, until we realised we needed more than just me to bring out a whole platform to host start-ups! I had a really great time helping to host quite a few events and interview even more entrepreneurs to put together a comprehensive set of educational videos/events for start-ups.

October 2018 – December 2019

Bloomberg

Global Data, Economics Analyst

I spent a year at Bloomberg in the Economics team within Global Data. I honestly feel blessed to have worked with wonderful people at every step of my career and this is no exception.

As my first real job it took a while to get used to the workflow of my team, but overtime I made my mark as a productive employee and was even offered a full time role at the end of it! (My african parents did not seem so keen on me skipping university though aha)

September 2017 – September 2018

I'll be honest guys, I took my first 2 years here for granted, hence my poor grades. I'm doing a good job now, but I've realised that I'd like to be truly world class in something; this may mean taking time to get a PhD and refine my skills OR it may mean working somewhere whilst refining my skills... This likely depends on which companies would like to hire me!

    Interests ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Here are some of the things I do outside of work:

  • I love fitness and I've been a level 3 qualified Personal Trainer since 17. I teach multiple gym classes weekly but my favourite is definitely spin cycle!
  • In line with my sports interests I also practice Judo at Ealing Judo Club (my sensei has coached multiple olympians so perhaps I'll be next ha!)
  • I have an eclectic taste in music, from Psychedelic Rock to Baby Making RnB, but my taste can be summed up in two playlists, an R&B and Soul playlist respectively

  • I will finish with a cool picture of me attempting to intimidate the government into action:

    Me at Downing St!
